MOST OF US HATE HOW WE LOOK IN PHOTOS. AGREED? WE CAN BE EXTREMELY HARSH AND MEAN TO OURSELVES WHEN IT COMES TO OUR UNIQUE BEAUTY AND BODY IMAGE.
** Just a heads up this is an oldie (this interview was done in May 2016) but a goodie and I really needed to repost it and upload this on my Brave Wallflower Show as well. So you could either watch us or tune in x.
I must say, even watching myself with my puffy tired small eyes and my crooked bottom teeth, I’m having a hard time looking at myself in this video. “Goodness, how ugly do I look” – perhaps my flaws are my beauty, it is hard I feel positive at this time when my youth is slipping and with social media [including fashion magazines which I’ve stopped purchasing] reminds us what is beauty and who is beautiful.
Let me introduce you to my first interviewed guest; Christine Rose Elle. She is a beauty portrait photographer and a life coach.
Christine created this group for women to post ‘selfies’ known as Share Your Beauty. I love anything Christine creates, however, I was nervous about posting selfies and I was worried I was going to have endless’duck face’ photos on my feed. But you know, I was surprised with how powerful this group really is.
So I put on my brave lady boss pants and I reached out to Christine to speak all things beauty and selfies. I found our interview to be filled with heartfelt stories.
Yes, Christine is a great storyteller indeed.
In this interview, we speak about;
- the importance of selfies,
- the power of portraits and photography itself
- plus how to take a good selfie.
