Don’t let the label of a Wallflower define you.

Don’t let the label of a Wallflower define you.

I am a shy introverted wallflower.

The truth about this statement is that I am the one who gave myself those labels.Yeah sure, there was a lot of childhood experiences in my past that shaped my life [some good, some bad] but as I got older, do I hear anyone giving me those feedback about myself?

I am my worst enemy hands down!

THE GODDESS COLUMN – MELISSA AMBROSINI

melissaambrosini.

YES, I TOTES LOVE THIS WOMAN, MELISSA AMBROSINI.

I have all her online products, seen her live twice in my life [I would have loved to visit her for her goddess group every week] and read her book Mastering Your Mean Girl. She is my modern ‘Louise Hay’. With that, this blog post is a tribute to her and her teachings.

MY TOP 10 TAKE AWAYS FROM MELISSA’S ARE:

  1. We only have two choices; LOVE or Fear.
  2. We CAN be healthy, wealthy + be bursting with LOVE
  3. Meditation / Stillness is an important practice.
  4. Practice gratitude and then we can be an abundance magnet.
  5. Bone Broth – to kick start your wellness journey.
  6. Eat your chocolate cake with no regrets.
  7. Move your body lovely, there’s no need to flog your body at the gym.
  8. Melt into your heart.
  9. Flex your self-love muscle everyday.
  10. The 3 ‘A’s: Awareness, Acknowledge and Action

These are very brief points of her key messages and I’m only scraping the surface of it all. There is so much more knowledge you can dive into, may that be about building a business, kickstart your wellness journey or cultivating self-love and overall happiness into your life.

Hey, you’re going to just jump on the MA bandwagon, then you will see that you cannot get enough of her, much love.

MUMS CAN’T PRACTICE SELF-CARE LIKE CELEBRITIES

Honestly, sometimes I feel like there is no such thing as self-care for mums.

In the past I’ve read blogs, articles n interview about certain public figures with their morning routine.

A good morning routine can certainly kick-start your morning in a positive light.

I mean I am not being a bitch about it but I don’t think mums can do theses routine or rituals???

20 mins meditation, 1hr yoga and a walk by the beach? Geez, I struggle to even have a healthy breakfast.

The raw truth is, my 24/7 are unpredictable! Nina is a terrible sleeper! (Oh how I miss sleeping in )

My ego says that now that I’m a mum, it’s impossible to practice self-card like some of these ‘celebrities’.

So how do I practice self-love?
